i wish more games did stuff like this. put little things hidden around the game to make us wonder why its there and make us look into it. this stuff is why i still love halo to this day its so rare to come across things like this. the only other game that comes to mind when i think of stuff like this is gta 5 with the mount chiliad mural, there's no real reason for it to be there other then to make people wonder why its there.

Been binging some Halo lore the past couple days. Didn't care about the direction they went after Halo 3, ODST, 4 and 5 was weird but not horrible. Haven't played any since then.

Just as Virgil's Aeneid is a masterpiece for all its references to Homer, Bungie Halo is much the same. Halo feels like less of a science fiction story and more of a biblical parable. I honestly think that just as the Aeneid is revered today as one of the most intricately crafted pieces of poetry, especially in Latin, so will Halo be one of the most famous biblically inspired stories, perhaps on par with John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress. Halo 1 to Reach will be classical works of art in 2000 years.

Could it be the Gravemind in Marty's voice taunting Cortana? With the words and sound being a form of the Logic Plague. This shows one, why its better sometimes not to revel to much about the real cannon history/lore cause there is funny in speculation. And two when smaller teams were able to make better games with more focused narrative and themes.
